Feature Suggestion Reward Terms

1.1 These terms explain how garages can earn a reward for suggesting features that we build. The scheme is run by EdinPro Digital Ltd, trading as GarageCloud ("GarageCloud", "we", "us"), a company registered in Scotland under company number SC906556, registered office 11 Muir Place, Livingston, EH54 5BF.

1.2 These terms form part of our Terms of Service. Words such as Account, Fees and Plan have the meanings given there.

2.1 Any business with an active, paid GarageCloud Account that is not suspended or in arrears can take part. Our own staff, contractors and their families cannot.

3.1 Submit your suggestion through the Suggest a feature section in your Account. Each suggestion must come from an Authorised User on your Account and describe a single feature.

3.2 We will acknowledge each suggestion. We are not obliged to build any suggestion, and we decide what to build and when.

4.1 You earn the reward if we build and release to customers a feature that, in our reasonable opinion, is substantially based on your suggestion.

4.2 If more than one garage suggests the same feature, only the first eligible suggestion we received, by date and time of submission, earns the reward.

4.3 Suggestions for features already planned, in development, or already suggested by another garage do not earn the reward. We will tell you if this applies when we acknowledge your suggestion.

4.4 We will make decisions under this clause reasonably and in good faith.

5.1 The reward is a £50 credit against your next monthly Fee, applied before any VAT. If you pay annually, the credit is held on your Account and taken off your next renewal payment.

5.2 We apply the credit to your first invoice after the feature is released. If the credit is more than the invoice, the balance carries forward to the next invoice.

5.3 One reward is given per feature. A single Account can earn up to 3 rewards in any 12 month period.

5.4 Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are lost if your subscription ends before they are used.

6.1 Suggestions are voluntary and are not treated as confidential. As set out in clause 13 of the Terms of Service, you give us a free, worldwide, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use, change and build on your suggestion, and we own any feature we develop.

6.2 Apart from the reward, we owe you nothing for a suggestion. Please do not include anyone else's confidential information or intellectual property.

7.1 We may change or end this scheme by giving at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Suggestions made before the scheme ends remain eligible if the feature is released within 6 months of the end date.
