What Garage Hive does well
Because it sits on Business Central, Garage Hive gets genuine strengths from that platform: Power BI reporting, native Outlook and Teams integration, and deep accounting depth that a purpose-built garage tool would take years to match. For a workshop that's already committed to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, or that needs enterprise-grade financial reporting, that's a real advantage.
What to weigh up
Some Garage Hive users have noted the combined licensing only makes financial sense with a team of six or more — a smaller, independent workshop can end up paying for Business Central capability it doesn't use. GarageCloud is built the other way round: a flat monthly fee per workshop, not per user, with no separate platform licence to manage.
